Estimator/Junior Estimator

    • Completed Bachelor of Construction Management or similar qualification required.

    • Minimum 2+ years in an estimator role and/or similar position within the construction industry.

    • Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and project planning.

    • Ability to undertake multiple projects using strong time management skills.

    • Strong ability to build relationships with internal staff, suppliers & sub-contractors.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel & Bluebeam software would be desirable.

    • Previous experience using Procore software would be desirable.

    • A current drivers licence.

    • A current construction white card.

    • Reviewing and interpreting project plans & documentation.

    • Undertaking thorough quantity take-offs & preparing of precise project estimates.

    • Compiling tender scope documentation and bid packages for suppliers & subcontractors.

    • Liaising with subcontractors to ensure quote deadlines are met.

    • Liaising with other company departments as required.

    • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with subcontractors & suppliers.

    • Coordination of tender documentation.

    • Undertaking site visits as required to understand project conditions and gather information. 

    • Actively participating in value engineering, providing practical solutions.

    • Collaborate with the project team for handover of successful tenders.

    • Working within company guidelines.
