Completed Bachelor of Construction Management or similar qualification required.
Minimum 2+ years in an estimator role and/or similar position within the construction industry.
Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and project planning.
Ability to undertake multiple projects using strong time management skills.
Strong ability to build relationships with internal staff, suppliers & sub-contractors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel & Bluebeam software would be desirable.
Previous experience using Procore software would be desirable.
A current drivers licence.
A current construction white card.

Reviewing and interpreting project plans & documentation.
Undertaking thorough quantity take-offs & preparing of precise project estimates.
Compiling tender scope documentation and bid packages for suppliers & subcontractors.
Liaising with subcontractors to ensure quote deadlines are met.
Liaising with other company departments as required.
Maintaining and strengthening relationships with subcontractors & suppliers.
Coordination of tender documentation.
Undertaking site visits as required to understand project conditions and gather information.
Actively participating in value engineering, providing practical solutions.
Collaborate with the project team for handover of successful tenders.
Working within company guidelines.
