This custom home build in Cardiff was a dream project for both the client and SNL Building.
It was a labour of love that took many hours to perfect, but it was worth every moment.

This home was designed by our in-house designer, Penny, and she has a few words to say about her experience below:

1. What was the inspiration for the home?
The Modern American Barn.

2. What unique features does this home have?
The outlook to the creek from within the home.

3. What's your favourite feature?
The feature stone that can be seen from inside the home and out.

4. What were the client's must-have requirements?
A long hallway from one end of the house to the other, pool, open plan living with double-sided fireplace, a separate wing for kids and parents.

5. Did the home use any new/innovative materials or technology in the home?
Smart home tech was used throughout the home.

6. Were there other businesses or individuals you had to work closely with for this project?
Fin Windows & Doors for the door units to the alfresco area.

7. Additional comments?
This was my absolute favourite home I have ever designed and I felt very emotional looking at just the photos. I spent many, many hours with the client perfecting the design but I loved every minute of it.
